❓ "I'm starting out as a recruitment consultant, which job should I start with?"
We advise you to start with the function types or sectors you're most comfortable with.
You can also take a look at the needs grouped under the "Trades / Sales" function type, which is one of the most numerous on the platform. These include both in-store salespeople and business developers or even sales managers, and are undoubtedly more accessible and "easier" to find than other profiles.
For your sourcing, you can use traditional job boards (Indeed, Hellowork, Pôle Emploi...) and professional social networks like LinkedIn.
❓"When do I have to follow up with the client about processing my applicants?"
The rhythm of communication with your customers on Hunteed should be adapted to each customer's situation. Check that there are no scheduled points between Hunteed and the customer beforehand. In all cases, remember to be friendly and cordial in your communications.
For most of them, you can adopt a classic rhythm for your reminders:
- When the application is validated: send a message to your customer to welcome the application. Ex: "Hello, I have just sent you XX's application for the position of YY. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions".
- D+5 business days without response: send a cordial reminder to the customer while also leaving a message for the Hunteed teams on the application. The Hunteed people attached to the missions can help you follow up your customers if necessary. Ex: "Hello, I hope you're well. It's been a week since I sent XX's application for the YY position. Have you had a chance to have a look at his application?
If you're not able to get back to me straight away, could you let me know a deadline that I can pass on to my candidate so that he can wait? Please do not hesitate to contact me. - Business days +15 with no response : first contact the Hunteed teams to find out the reasons for the lack of response. If the person in charge of the assignment doesn't mind, you can send a final follow-up message: "Hello, I hope you're well. It's been a little over two weeks since I shared XX's application with you, and unless I'm mistaken, I haven't heard back yet. As my candidate is involved in several processes, I'm afraid his application may have slipped through your fingers. If you don't think he deserves to be considered, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can move him on to other processes, even if you need to clarify your decision later. Please do not hesitate to contact me to help you make a decision on this candidate."
A little tip: don't hesitate to ask ChatGPT to write you perfect follow-up messages.
❓ "Who do I contact when I need help?"
Several teams are available to assist you in your Hunteed experience:
- The Community team: this is made up of people who are with you from the very beginning of your activity on the platform. You can count on them to help you understand and use the platform as a whole (e.g.: questions about features, strategic use of the platform or when you don't know who to contact). In this case, it's best to send an e-mail to community@hunteed.com or directly to the person who is monitoring your use of the platform.
- The CSM team: these are the people you'll meet on the various assignments available on the platform. Their role is to answer your questions directly related to the assignments you're working on. They also get involved once you've sent an application to the client. There are two ways to contact them:
- Via the job page
- Via the application form
- The technical team: embodied in particular by Baptiste, you can call on his help when you encounter technical problems with the platform: error messages, unavailable functions...
To contact Baptiste, use the platform's Intercom chat.
❓ "How do I modify an application?"
When using the platform, you will sometimes be asked to modify an application for one reason or another. To do this, go to the "My candidates" tab, click on the candidate's first name and surname to open the candidate's page, then click on the "Modify" button.
❓ "Does Hunteed bring me sourcing tools?"
Hunteed is a solution that gives you access to customers and their qualified recruitment needs, in exchange for which you take charge of bringing in candidates from your own sourcing. The platform is therefore more geared to commercial prospecting. However, Hunteed can provide you with theoretical support on the sourcing side, by making a library of content available to you, or by putting you in touch with partners.
If Hunteed has partnerships with sourcing tools or platforms, you may be able to access them. If you haven't already done so, please contact the Community team.
❓ "Can I speak to the client to get more information?"
When you consult the assignments, you can only contact members of the CSM team in order to have additional information. These people, who have accompanied the customer in the process of putting the requirement on line, are fully authorized to answer any questions you may have. Contact with the customer is only possible once you have submitted an application.
❓ "Should a Hunteed commission be deducted from the fee displayed on an job?"
No, the fees indicated on jobs represent the amount exclusive of VAT that you will be able to invoice after the guarantee period has been validated. Your share represents 50% of the total commission paid by the client for the recruitment.
❓ "What types of contracts are available?"
You'll mainly find assignments for permanent contract and semi-permanent contract posts on the platform with, to date, the opportunity to work on interim executive / interim management assignments.
❓ "What happens once the 14-day deadline has passed after I've registered for an assignment?"
As places are limited to 5 consultants, we give you two weeks to propose at least one candidate before withdrawing from the assignment. This has no impact on your overall activity, and you could even re-apply for the same assignment yourself after being removed.
❓ "Can I put on LinkedIn that I work for Hunteed?"
If you want to post your recruitment consultant activity on Hunteed, you can indeed do so as long as you indicate that you work as a freelance consultant .
❓ "Can I use the Hunteed logo when I post my ads?"
No, the ads you send out on different networks and job boards must be in your name, in the name of your entity. Neither the client nor Hunteed must be mentioned on your ads.
❓ "Can I present more than one candidate on a job?"
Yes, you can present as many candidates as you wish on a Hunteed job, provided you comply with all the conditions defined in our Terms and Conditions and charter, namely: meeting your candidates at least by videoconference, receiving their agreement, presenting a qualitative report.
❓ "If I put candidates on "My Talents", can other consultants and customers access them?"
All information about your candidates and talents entered on the Hunteed platform is confidential. It is neither shared with other consultants nor reused by Hunteed. When this data reaches customers, they undertake to respect the confidentiality of the information and to use it only in the context of the recruitment in progress on Hunteed.
❓ "I'd like to work on a mission but there are no more seats, what should I do?"
Simply contact the person attached to the mission. The CSM assisting you on this mission will then give you a place provided you have a candidate to present.
If you have reached the end of your mission quota, you can make the same request to the same person.
❓ "Should I do the follow-up after sending an application?"
Yes, it is essential that you follow up with your candidate after submitting them on Hunteed. Candidate follow-up primarily involves ensuring that everything goes smoothly for them throughout the recruitment process, whether it's after interviews with the client, post-integration, or at regular intervals during the guarantee period. Failing to follow up with your candidate significantly reduces the chances of a successful recruitment.
