The interview report is an essential part of the Hunteed application process. Its aim is to convince the client company to interview your candidate. We advise you to base your interview on the essential points shared in the brief. As a reminder, it's imperative to conduct your interview by video or face-to-face for Hunteed assignments.
The key points
The first step is to confirm that your candidate does indeed meet the must-haves, the most important criteria shared by the client company. Answer all the points. Not answering all the points may suggest that your candidate doesn't meet all the criteria, and putting in too many points may confuse the reader.
If a candidate doesn't quite fit, complete the point anyway, even if it means adding details in the following fields.
Experience and skills
There's no point in copying and pasting the candidate's CV or elements from the advert.
On the contrary, you need to integrate elements that you have picked up during your face-to-face / video interview with your candidate.
You need to highlight your candidate's previous experience in relation to the key points, while emphasizing key skills and projects undertaken. There's no point in analyzing everything: just focus on significant experience that's relevant to the job in question. Be careful not to base your analysis on experiences that are too short or that date back a long time.
Soft skills
In this section, focus on your interpersonal skills as they relate to your target position.
Motivations and expectations
For this last part, you can simply transcribe what your candidate has told you, such as the reasons for leaving the current position, but also elements that will play a role in the candidate's decision (e.g.: travel time, possibility of flexible working hours...).
Be careful, however, always to put a positive spin on your candidate's motivations, and to avoid indiscretion.
Some tips
- Always meet your candidate at least once in a job interview. This interview can be done remotely thanks to video-conference tools such as Google Meet, Skype…
Not meeting your candidates can prevent you from working with Hunteed. - Do not stuff your interview reports with keywords. Explain why your candidate should be interviewed by the client by putting forward the relevant information concerning the relevant past experiences of your candidate.
- Contact the Community Team if you need any help completing an interview report.
